Michigan quarterback commitment Devin Gardner kicked off his senior season on a big stage with his Inkster squad taking on Ann Arbor Pioneer inside Eastern Michigan's Rynearson Stadium. While he had a strong performance overall, his team fell 35-32 when the Pioneers scored a touchdown with less than a minute remaining.

For the game, Gardner completed 11-of-15 passes for 129 yards and a touchdown. He also showed off his running skills, carrying the ball 16 times for 116 yards, a touchdown and a two-point conversion. See exclusive video highlights of Gardner in action from the contest.
