Dream Team has Spartan flavor

DEARBORN, Mich. - Four future Spartans were among the 24 outstanding high school football players at the head table of the Detroit Free Five Press All-State Dream Team Banquet co-sponsored by the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame.

William Gholston and Max Bullough headlined the dream team defense, which also included future teammate Tony Lippett, a two-way standout for Detroit Crockett at quarterback and defensive back.

Nick Hill was the lone Spartan commitment on the dream team offense, which also featured another dynamic athlete from the east side of the state in Westland John Glenn's Jeremy Langford.
Gholston was named the captain of the dream team defense.

"It feels great," said Gholston of being named to the Dream Team. "It was one of my goals coming into the year. I have been wanting this for the longest time. I remember opening the paper when I was in 8th grade looking at the dream team, all-city, all-state. I accomplished all of that, I made all city ballot since 9th grade. First honorable mention, then second team and then first team two years in a row. Now I made my dream team goal. I made my all-state goal last year. It feels great."
