No decison yet for five-star

Five-star defensive end Owamagbe Odighizuwa (6-3, 234) from Portland (Ore.) David Douglas lived up to his reputation as one of the nation's best defensive ends after accounting for 90 tackles and 10 sacks, though he was virtually double teamed on every down.

Odighizuwa recently took his last visit to USC.

"It was a good visit to USC," Odighizuwa said. "I enjoyed my time down there. I liked meeting Pete Carroll and Coach Jethro Franklin, the football teammates. I really enjoyed watching their practice and hanging out with some of their players and talking to Coach Rocky Seto. It was a good trip."

Odighizuwa also took visits to Cal, UCLA, Florida and Nebraska. He took an unofficial visit to Oregon State during the season.

There were rumors that Odighizuwa may have been close to making a decision soon after his visit to USC, but that was not the case.

"I'm still open and I'm on vacation right now," Odighizuwa said. "I'm kind of waiting until afterwards and letting some schools know that I don't want to be recruited by them anymore and narrow it down to a few schools, but as far as a commitment goes, I'm not committed anywhere yet.
