Frost ready to get started at Auburn

Butler (Matthews, N.C.) five-star athlete Kris Frost had been to Auburn five times before an official visit to the Plains this weekend.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Frost's visit was a little different from the ones in the past.

This time, he was committed to the Tigers.

"I knew I was going here, going to this wonderful university," Frost said Sunday. "I'm excited about it. Now I can stop saying 'if I come here this will happen'. Now I can say 'this is going to happen'. That is what I'm really excited about. My parents are excited for me. We are just pumped up and ready to go."

Frost announced his intentions to sign with Auburn earlier this month. He declared to the Tigers during the U.S. Army All-America Game Frost had been leaning towards committing to childhood-favorite Michigan, but after Rich Rodriguez was fired, Frost had a change in plans. He then wanted to go to Auburn....
