Koger always kept the faith

When Michigan got off to an 0-2 start to their season, questions arose about how the 15 commitments were reacting to the early season slide and whether it would have any effect on their pledges. One player who was a hot topic was Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer tight end Kevin Koger who narrowly selected Michigan over Ohio State.

The 6-4, 235-pound Koger said he still receives calls from coaches at other schools from time to time. He talks with Michigan offensive coordinator Mike DeBord, however, every week.
