LSU enters team rankings, Memphis No. 2

For the third consecutive week, an SEC school has jumped into the class of 2010 team recruiting rankings. Two weeks ago it was South Carolina, last week Florida and now this week LSU enters the top 20 after the commitment of four-star point guard Andre Stringer.
While the SEC gains a fourth team, the Big 12 is down to only one team - Baylor. Texas slid out of the rankings because of the decommitment of four-star shooting guard Daniel Bejarano.
The ACC is by far the top recruiting conference in 2010 with six teams in the top 20 - five in the top 10. The Big Ten is second with four teams, including Ohio State at No. 1.
The Big East has two representatives, with Syracuse being the No. 3 team overall.
Syracuse lost its No. 2 spot to Memphis after four-star shooting guard Chris Crawford committed to the Tigers. It is a close call between Memphis and Syracuse, but the elite backcourt of Will Barton and Joe Jackson - plus the addition of a standout shooter like Crawford - gives Memphis the edge.
Memphis is the only Conference-USA team in the rankings. The Atlantic-10 has both Xavier and Dayton in the rankings.
The Pac-10 does not have a team in the top 20.
The only other movement in this week's update is Virginia jumping one spot ahead of South Carolina after receiving a commitment from combo forward Akil Mitchell.
