Cougs rise to No. 16 in both major national polls

Washington State has moved up two spots to No. 16 in both of the major national polls following Saturday's 45-7 victory over Nevada at Martin Stadium.

However, a huge test awaits Friday night when the Cougs host USC at Martin Stadium in a rare Friday night Pac=-12 battle. USC is ranked as high as No. 5.

ESPN.com has WSU at No. 14 in their national power ranking and No. 3 in the Pac-12 behind USC and UW.
