Layman Adds A Point For Wazzu At The NCAA Championships

Coming on the the heels of the electrifying national championship run of freshman hurdling sensation Jeshua Anderson, another freshman - Anna Layman competed for Wazzu in the final day of the NCAA Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.
Layman, a freshman of the redshirt variety competing in her first-ever NCAA championship meet, recorded a 2:06.93 in windy conditions in Des Moines and finished eighth, garnering a single point for the Cougars' team total.

WSU finished with a total of 11 points on the men's side and eight points for the women.
