Blake Hinson has his pick of sports to play at the major college level.

The 2019 Daytona Beach, Fla. (Deltona) product is being heavily recruited in both football and basketball. In terms of the pigskin, Hinson is rated a 4-star tight end with offers from Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Miami (Fla.), North Carolina and Baylor.

Washington State, though, wants the 6-foot-6, 200 pound versatile shooting guard for his elite basketball skills. Until a few days ago, he held hoop offers from Boston College, Florida State, Miami, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Wichita State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss and others.

However, the Cougars were one of three schools to offer Hinson over the weekend as Seton Hall and Memphis offered him as well.

Will Hinson play both sports? His older brother Evan Hinson is currently playing football (TE) and basketball (SF) at South Carolina, and was a member of the Gamecocks' Final Four team this past spring.
