Moores Jumper Mashes Spuds

The Washington State University men's hoop team nipped the Idaho Vandals, 66-64 on a last-second jumper from point guard Reggie Moore in Moscow. With the win, Wazzu improves to 5-4 overall on the year.
Wazzu was missing three players from their roster - Faisal Aden [concussion], Mychal Ladd [thumb] and Abe Lodwick [foot stress fracture] - but still appeared to be on their way to an easy blowout win as the Wazzu defense held the Vandals to a mere 31% shooting percentage in the first half en route to building a 35-25 advantage going into the locker room at halftime.

But Idaho came storming back in the second half - shooting 60% from the field, including seven three-balls - and tied the game at 64-all with 25 seconds remaining when Moore hit his jump shot with 0.9 seconds left in the game to secure the Wazzu victory.
Two Cougars were in double figures in scoring, led by Moore with 15 points and followed by Brock Motum with 12 while Charlie Enquist led the Cougars with eight rebounds.
NOTES:
- Wazzu and Idaho have had a men's hoop game against each other for 107 years.
- Wazzu out-rebounded the Vandals, 31-25, in the game.
