Pac-Tending 01-04-06

"If there is a written rule that says you have to win both games to win it, then he shouldn't get it."
- Washington head men's hoop coach Lorenzo Romar, issuing a slightly sarcastic comment on the fact that Brandon Roy did not receive the conference's player of the week award – similar to WSU's earlier situation with Jerome Harrison in football – because the Huskies did not win both games last weekend. There currently is no written conference rule regarding winning being a necessity for the weekly award.
