In women's hoop, junior center Ashley Walker was named as the conference's player of the week.

WSU

In men's hoop, 8th-ranked Wazzu defeated USC but lost to UCLA to move to 14-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play with a 25 RPI.

In football, the Cougars received verbal commitments from defensive linemen Jesse Sanchez and Josh Luapo and receiver Myron Beck.

In women's hoop, the Cougars lost to USC and UCLA to fall to rival Washington to drop to 3-13 overall and 0-5 in Pac-10 play with a 275 RPI. Sophomore guard Nakejia Kelly is academically ineligible for the season.

In soccer, Wazzu received verbal commitments from midfielder Lani Amack, forward Megan Chapin, defender Alison Fenter and goalkeeper Stephanie Phillips.

Washington

In men's hoop, the Huskies were swept by UCLA and USC to drop to 9-7 overall and 0-3 in conference play with a 104 RPI.

USC

In football, junior offensive lineman Chilo Rachal will forego his final year of eligibility to make himself eligible for the NFL draft.

Arizona State

In football, the Sun Devils received verbal commitments from running back Ryan Bass, tight end Toa Tuitea and linebackers Brandon Magee and Shelly Lyons.

Arizona

In football, the Wildcats received a verbal commitment from offensive lineman Vaughn Dotsy.

Stanford

In men's hoop, the Cardinal defeated Oregon State but lost to Oregon to move to 13-3 overall and 2-2 in conference play with a 39 RPI.

UCLA

In men's hoop, freshman center Kevin Love was named as the conference's player of the week.
