In men's hoop, Oregon defeated Miami [Ohio] in the first round and Winthrop in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to move to 28-8 on the season. They will meet UNLV in the Sweet 16.

In women's hoop, the Ducks defeated UC-Santa Barbara in the first round of the WNIT to improve to 17-13 on the year and will play Wyoming in the second round.

Oregon State

In women's hoop, Oregon State received a verbal commitment 6-3 center Viki Wohlers from Germany.

UCLA

In men's hoop, the Bruins defeated Weber State in the first round and Indiana in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to improve to 28-5 overall and will play Pitt in the Sweet 16.

WSU

In men's hoop, Wazzu defeated Oral Roberts in the first round but lost to Vanderbilt in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, to finish the season at 26-8 overall.

In soccer, the Cougars defeated Bristol [3-0] and Charlton [4-0] to conclude their Tour of England.

In tennis, WSU got their first Pac-10 win of the year by defeating the rival Washington Huskies, 4-3, to improve to 11-7 overall and 1-4 in conference play.

Arizona

In men's hoop, the Wildcats lost to Purdue in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to finish the season at 20-11 overall.

USC

In men's hoop, the Trojans defeated Arkansas in the first round and Texas in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to improve to 25-11 overall and will face North Carolina in the Sweet 16.

Arizona State

Defensive lineman Loren Howard will not return for his sixth year of eligibility.

In women's hoop, the Sun Devils defeated UC-Riverside in the first round and Louisville in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to improve to 30-4 overall and will play Bowling Green in the Sweet 16.

California

In women's hoop, the Bears lost to Notre Dame in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to finish their season at 23-9 overall.

Stanford

In men's hoop, the Cardinal lost to Louisville in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to finish their season at 18-13 overall.

In women's hoop, Stanford beat Idaho State in the first round but lost to Florida State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to finish their season at 29-5 overall.

Washington

In women's hoop, the Huskies lost to Iowa State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to finish their season at 18-13 overall and fired head coach June Daugherty.
