Championship season continues at the Creek as California won the conference title in women's rowing, Washington won the men's rowing title, Arizona State won the women's track and field title and Oregon won the men's track and field title.
In NCAA championships, UCLA won their first-ever national championship in women's tennis, USC won the women's golf West regional to advance to the NCAA Championships, five of the seven Pac-10 softball teams advanced to the super regionals and three teams were invited to the women's rowing NCAA Championships.
Meanwhile, at NCAA HQ, the 34-bowl game schedule was released and six non-BCS bowl games have Pac-10 conference tie-ins – the Holiday Bowl [Pac-10 v. Big 12 opponent]; Sun Bowl [Pac-10 v. Big East/Big 12]; Las Vegas Bowl [Pac-10 v. Mountain West]; Emerald Bowl [Pac-10 v. ACC]; Hawai'i Bowl [Pac-10 v. WAC].
Oregon State
In men's rowing, the Beavers finished fourth at the Pac-10 championships and will await a bid to the IRA [Intercollegiate Rowing Association] national championships.
Arizona State
In women's hoop, former Washington center Kali Bennett will transfer to the Sun Devils.
USC
In men's hoop, Trojan recruit DeMar DeRozan is reported to be considering asking out of his commitment if USC receives any NCAA sanctions in the case regarding former guard O.J. Mayo.
WSU
In rowing, Wazzu received a bid to the NCAA championship regatta after finishing third at the Pac-10 championships last week.
In track and field, junior steeplechaser Sara Trane repeated as the Pac-10 champion in the steeplechase and freshman Jeshua Anderson captured his first conference title in the 400-meter hurdles at the Pac-10 championships last week.
In baseball, the Cougars were swept by UCLA and fell to 28-25 overall and 6-15 in conference play with a 39 RPI.
In men's hoop, redshirt freshman Thomas Abercrombie has left the team and will return to his native New Zealand to pursue a professional career.
California
In women's hoop, assistant coach Lindsay Gottlieb has left to become the new head coach at UC-Santa Barbara.
In rowing, the Bears received an invitation to the NCAA Championships.

In football, defensive lineman Johnathan Turner was indicted for sexual assault.
In men's hoop, recruit Emmanuel Negedu has asked to be released from his national letter of intent.

In men's hoop, former Duke assistant coach Mike Schrage and former assistant with the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks, Brian Jameshave been added as assistant coaches.
Oregon
In men's golf, senior Joey Benedetti won the NCAA West regional individual title and the Ducks advanced to the NCAA championships.
Washington
In men's golf, Washington placed fourth in the NCAA West regional and advanced to the NCAA championships.
In rowing, Washington received an invitation to the NCAA Championships.
UCLA
In baseball, junior pitcher Tim Murphy was named as the conference's pitcher of the week.
