The latest numbers are in and Stanford's lead over UCLA is now insurmountable, clinching the title. Also, seven Pac-10 schools are in the Top 25 and all conference schools are in the Top 100.

Meanwhile at NCAA HQ, the rates of injuries for various winter sports were recently released and Division I schools had the highest practice injury rate in men's basketball while women's basketball continues to be plagued by an ACL injury rate twice that of the men.

Arizona State

In women's hoop, the Sun Devils received commitments from two transfers – 6-3 center Sybil Dosty from Tennessee and 6-3 forward Lauren Lacey from Minnesota.

Arizona State defeated fellow conference member Oregon State but lost to Texas and Tennessee and was eliminated in the NCAA super regional in softball.

The Sun Devils defeated Prairie View A&M but lost twice to Baylor and were eliminated in the NCAA super regional in baseball.

Arizona

The Wildcats defeated LSU in the NCAA super regional to advance to the Women's College World Series in softball. There, they defeated fellow conference member Oregon State, Texas and Tennessee to advance to the national title series against Northwestern, where they swept the Wildcats in two games to claim their seventh national championship in the sport.

In men's hoop, guard Jerryd Bayless is reported to be wavering on his verbal commitment to Arizona.

WSU

Two Cougar heptahtletes - Julie and Diana Pickler will try for national titles at the NCAA Track and Field Championships beginning today in Sacramento. The Pickler sisters are ranked 4th and 5th, respectively, in their event.

California

The Bears won the varsity eight national title in men's rowing for the 15th time in school history with their two-second victory over Princeton.

Oregon State

In NCAA softball playoffs, Oregon State lost to fellow conference members Arizona and Arizona State at the Women's College World Series and were eliminated.

The Beavers defeated Wright State, Kansas and Hawai'i in the NCAA regional in baseball and advanced to the super regional where they will get a rematch against fellow conference member Stanford.

Oregon

The Civil War – Oregon's rivalry against Oregon State – was moved to Friday, November 24 to accommodate live television coverage by Fox Sports.

UCLA

The Bruins advanced to the Women's College World Series in softball, where they defeated Alabama and Texas but lost to Tennessee and were eliminated by Northwestern.

UCLA defeated UC-Irvine in their NCAA baseball regional but lost to Pepperdine and was eliminated by Missouri.

USC

Redshirt freshman quarterback Mark Sanchez was cleared of sexual assault charges and reinstated to the football team. By mutual agreement, the Trojans dropped their return game against Colorado State in 2008.

Oregon State defeated Nevada and Baylor in the NCAA softball regional, then defeated fellow conference member California in the super regional to advance to the Women's College World Series where they will play another conference member, Arizona, in their first game.

Stanford

The Cardinal defeated Texas and North Carolina State twice in their NCAA baseball regional to advance to the super regional where they will play fellow conference member Oregon State.

Washington

Running back Quinton Richardson gave a verbal commitment to Washington.

In men's hoop, Washington received a verbal commitment from forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning. Bryan-Amaning selected Washington over Wake Forest and Pittsburgh.
