In baseball, head coach Donnie Marbut was named as CougZone Coach of the Year.

In men's golf, Wazzu senior-to-be Austin Hurt won the Washington State Men's Amateur Championship.

In men's hoop, the Wildcats received a verbal commitment from forward Derrick Williams.

USC

In women's hoop, Kelley Gibson and Mary Wooley were added as assistant coaches.

Oregon

In softball, Oregon high school coach Mike White was named as head coach

Arizona State

In football, the Sun Devils received a verbal commitment from receiver Randy Knust.

Washington

In men's hoop, JC forward recruit Charles Garcia was determined to be academically ineligible.

California

In track and field, Alysia Johnson finished seventh in the women's 800 meter final at the USA Track & Field Championships.
