In women's hoop, current and former Cardinal players Claire Bodensteiner and Jillian Harmon were named to New Zealand's Olympic team at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
USC
In men's hoop, recruit DeMar DeRozan is academically eligible to compete.
Arizona State
In men's swimming, the program was reinstated.
In football, the Sun Devils received a verbal commitment from tight end Chris Coyle and defensive back Osahon Irabor.
Oregon
In football, redshirt freshman defensive back Todd Doxey died after a drowning accident.
