In football, sophomore safety LeAndre Daniels' football career is over due to a neck fracture.

In soccer, 24th-ranked was upset by Long Beach State and then defeated by ninth-ranked Texas A&M, 1-0 to fall to 1-3 overall on the year.

In football, receiver Kyle Prater could be redshirted for the 2010 season.

In football, defensive lineman William Sutton and linebacker Anthony Jones were ruled academically ineligible.

In football, Wildcats' quarterback recruit Daxx Garman was ruled ineligible to play in his Texas high school's season-opening game due to questions about his residency.
