In women's hoop, Wazzu received a verbal commitment from 6-5 center Carly Noyes from Moses Lake.

In football, the Bears lost to Maryland, 35-27.

In football, running back Chris Polk is out for the season with a shoulder injury and Washington received a verbal commitment from fullback Zach Fogerson.
