The 2009-10 championship season continues at the Creek and the conference is again showing its strength in women's volleyball as nine teams are represented in the national poll.

In soccer, 28th-ranked Wazzu remained on a roll with victories over Texas and Stephen F. Austin to improve to 6-2 overall on the year.
In football, junior running back James Montgomery is out for the season after undergoing surgery for acute compartment syndrome and Wazzu received verbal commitments from defensive back Tyrone Duckett and receiver Bobby Ratliff.
