The 2009-10 championship season continues at the Creek and the conference continues to show its strength in women's volleyball as all 10 teams are represented in the national poll.
Meanwhile, at NCAA HQ, sites for the 2011 through 2013 men's hoop tournaments were announced and Arizona, Arizona State and Oregon were awarded hosting opportunities.
Oregon
In football, senior tight end Ed Dickson was named as the conference's offensive player of the week and defensive back Walter Thurmond III is out for the season with a knee injury.
Arizona
In volleyball, the Wildcats received a verbal commitment from outside hitter Madison Kingdon.
Stanford
In football, sophomore receiver Chris Owusu was named as the conference's special teams player of the week.
Washington
In volleyball, senior libero Tarnari Miyashiro was named as the conference's player of the week.
UCLA
In women's soccer, redshirt senior forward Kara Lang suffered an ACL knee injury and will miss the remainder of the season.
Oregon State
In men's soccer, the Beavers defeated Marist to improve to 4-2-2 overall on the year.
Arizona State
In women's soccer, the Sun Devils defeated Northern Arizona, 4-0, to improve to 7-1-2 overall on the year.
WSU
In volleyball, 34th-ranked Wazzu swept Oregon State but lost to Oregon to move to 1-1 in conference play and 12-1 overall on the year.
In soccer, 26th-ranked Wazzu skunked Weber State to improve to 7-2 overall on the year.
In football, defensive lineman Josh Luapo is out for the season after suffering a knee injury last week and Wazzu received a verbal commitment from receiver Robert Jiles.
In women's hoop, Wazzu received a verbal commitment from forward Brandi Thomas.
California
In volleyball, the Bears defeated rival Stanford to improve to 1-0 in conference play and 8-3 overall on the year.
USC
In football, senior running back Stafon Johnson is out for the season after getting injured in a weightlifting mishap.
