UCLA
Starting place kicker Justin Medlock was suspended from the team and will miss the Sun Bowl after being arrested for felony drunk driving and felony hit-and-run.
In men's hoop, the Bruins beat Nevada to improve to 7-1 overall with a 31 RPI.
In women's hoop, UCLA beat Pepperdine to improve to 5-3 overall with a 52 RPI.
WSU
The Cougars received verbal commitments from receiver Finas Rabb and running back J.T. Diederichs. WSU also signed a deal to play Minnesota in 2010 and 2011 and UNLV in 2011 and 2012.
In men's hoop, the Cougars lost to Gonzaga but defeated San Diego State to move to 5-2 overall with an 87 RPI.
In women's hoop, WSU lost to Minnesota to fall to 6-2 overall with a 106 RPI. Freshman guard Amanda DuRocher injured her wrist and will be out indefinitely. The Cougars signed guard Jackie Hill from Colorado.
Oregon State
In men's hoop, the Beavers lost to Portland to fall to 2-3 overall with a 240 RPI.
In women's hoop, Oregon State defeated Portland State to improve to 5-1 overall with a 164 RPI.
Arizona
Arizona received verbal commitments from receivers Delashaun Dean and Terrell Reese, defensive back Nate Ness and defensive lineman Gabe Long. Former quarterback Kris Heavner has transferred back from Baylor and will rejoin the team in spring.
In men's hoop, the Wildcats beat Northern Arizona and St. Mary's to improve to 4-3 overall with a 97 RPI. Starting guard Hassan Adams was cited for a misdemeanor disturbing the peace charge after becoming involved in a late-night, post-party break-up. Academically ineligible guard Jawann McClellan will not be eligible to return until January at best.
In women's hoop, Arizona lost to Maryland to drop to 4-3 overall with a 145 RPI.
Washington
Washington received verbal commitments from receiver Marcel Reese and defensive lineman De'Shon Matthews.
In men's hoop, the Huskies defeated New Mexico to remain undefeated at 8-0 with a 29 RPI.
In women's hoop, Washington defeated Michigan and Eastern Washington to improve to 7-2 overall with a 19 RPI.
Stanford
Quarterback Alex Loukas and defensive lineman Brian Bulcke have given verbal commitments to Stanford.
Arizona State
The Sun Devils received verbal commitments from running backs Ryan Torain and [db]Dimitri Nance[/db]. New Mexico State dropped Arizona State from their 2006 schedule.
In men's hoop, the Sun Devils lost to Utah Valley State to drop to 4-2 overall with a 233 RPI. Starting forward [db]Serge Angounou is out indefinitely with a bone bruise on his knee.
USC
Junior running back Reggie Bush was named as the Heisman Trophy winner.
In men's hoop, the Trojans defeated Loyola Marymount to improve to 5-2 overall with a 163 RPI. Sophomore guard Gabe Pruitt was named as the conference's player of the week.
In women's hoop, the Women of Troy beat CSUN but lost to Ohio State to move to 5-3 overall with a 105 RPI.
Oregon
The Ducks finalized a home-and-away series with Tennessee. Oregon will face the Volunteers in 2010 in Knoxville and in 2013 in Eugene.
In men's hoop, Oregon lost to Illinois and beat Santa Clara to move to 5-3 overall with a 138 RPI.
In women's hoop, the Ducks defeated Prairie View A&M and St. Mary's to improve to 7-1 overall with a 116 RPI.
California
Redshirt freshman quarterback Nate Longshore, injured in the Bears' first game of the year, will not play in the Las Vegas Bowl against BYU.
In men's hoop, California lost to Kansas to drop to 6-2 overall with a 149 RPI.
In women's hoop, the Bears defeated San Jose State and South Carolina State to improve to 8-2 overall with a 22 RPI. Junior guard Sarah Pool was named as the conference's player of the week.
