In men's hoop, Wazzu defeated Texas-Pan American and annihilated Gonzaga to improve to 7-1 overall and junior guard Klay Thompson was named as the conference's player of the week. Additionally, Wazzu will play their Pac-12 opening games against Oregon and Oregon State in Spokane in 2012.
In women's hoop, the Cougars lost to Gonzaga to drop to 2-8 overall.

In football, assistant coaches Greg Brown and Mike Tuiasosopo were hired at Colorado.
Stanford
In women's soccer, forward Christen Press was named as a finalist for the Mac Hermann Trophy.
UCLA
In men's hoop, the Bruins defeated UC-Davis and Cal Poly to improve to 5-4 overall on the year.
Arizona State
In men's hoop, the Sun Devils defeated Gardner-Webb to improve to 4-4 overall.
Washington
In volleyball, a verbal confrontation between coaches of Nebraska and Washington was deemed a non-issue by Washington athletic director Scott Woodward.
Oregon
In women's hoop, the Ducks lost to UC-Riverside to drop to 6-2 overall on the year.
