Wazzu Beats Back Bobcats

Just like that, the Washington State University women's basketball team has gone from losing their first game of the year straight into a two-game winning streak after recording a 78-66 victory over the Montana State University Bobcats at Beasley Coliseum in Pullman. It is Wazzu's first winning streak since last December.
Freshman April Cook, with 20 points, again led multiple players in double-figure scoring, with Katie Appleton racking up 17 and Rosie Tarnowski tossing in 15. Tarnowski also led the Cougars in rebounding, bringing down nine boards. Senior center Ebonee Coates had two blocks in the game to move her into fourth place on the all-time career list with 75 blocks.

With the win, Wazzu improves to 2-1 overall.
Wazzu's next game is against Northern Colorado at 7pm on Friday, November 28 at the Odwalla Classic in San Francisco.
