Wazzu Sleepwalks Past TPA

The Washington State University Cougar men's hoop team was coming off a big victory over Gonzaga and, predictably, the energy level was not equivalent in their next game as Wazzu mundanely tossed Texas-Pan American aside, 74-52 in a game played at Spokane Arena in Spokane. With the victory, Wazzu improves to 7-1 overall.
Junior guard Faisal Aden was hot and picked up the energetic slack for the Cougars as Wazzu sluggishly built a 36-24 lead going into the locker room Those in attendance.

The second half was put into Cougar cruise control as Aden continued to hit shots and junior guard Klay Thompson and sophomore Brock Motum tossed in a few buckets to keep the Broncs at bay.
Aden led Wazzu in scoring with 20 points while Thompson added 15 and Motum tossed in 13 for the Cougars.
NOTES
- Official attendance for the game was 4,382.
