ABOUT THE MATCHUPS The Cougs hit the road for just the second time on the year with a pair of contests to close out non-conference play. WSU heads to Utah Valley in Orem, UT Thursday before finishing up at Montana Sunday afternoon. WSU is looking for its first road win of the year with their lone loss in 2017 coming on the road at Santa Clara. WSU has never faced UVU while posting an 11-6-1 record against Montana including winning the last seven contests.

LAST TIME OUT In a nearly flawless 90 minutes of play, the Washington State soccer team dominated Cal State Northridge, 3-0, Friday evening at Lower Soccer Field in their lone contest of the weekend.. In what was as close to perfection as the Cougars (4-1-1) could play, WSU allowed just one shot over the course of the contest to the previously unbeaten Matadors (2-1-4) to grab their fifth shutout of the season in six contests. With the defense locked in, the Cougs' offense had free rein to pepper the over-matched Matador defense with shots...Morgan Weaver scored the game-winner just six minutes into the contest.

ABOUT THE WOLVERINES: UVU enters the week 3-5-0 on the year but are on a small hot streak having won two of its last three including a 2-1 win over Wyoming at home. The Wolverines hold an all-time 67-33-10 record at home and has lost just four games in Orem over the past three years. Breanna DeWaal leads the offense with three goals. As a team, UVU has scored nine goals in eight games. In goal, Brooklyn Nielsen has played the bulk of the minutes and has recorded the team's 3-5 record while coming up with 19 saves. Thursday's matchup is the first all-time between the two team.
