WSOCC: Late rally lifts Cougs past Utah Valley in Double OT

On the road in front of an extremely hostile crowd, Washington State (5-1-1) pulled a rabbit out of its hat in an impressive 3-2 double-overtime victory over Utah Valley (3-6) Thursday.

Putting her team on her back, Maddy Haro played the savior as the junior netted not one but two late game equalizers to send the contest into overtime. Haro's second strike of the night came with just :32 seconds to play in the game.

Blessed with new life, the Cougs did not waste their opportunity as sophomore sensation Morgan Weaver struck just :30 seconds into the second overtime with the golden goal to send the Cougs home with another victory.

WSU needed every bit of offense thanks to a pair of lucky strikes from the Wolverines who took their second lead with just six minutes to play.
