Wazzu stays hot with commitment from 2024 DE Camden DeGraw

It has been a busy stretch for Washington State, and Saturday night the Cougars picked up a commitment from one of their weekend official visitors. Big Idaho defensive lineman Camden DeGraw has been involved with the Cougars for quite some time taking visits and building a relationship with the staff.

He was finally offered in April, and since that time Wazzu had been the leader in his recruitment. The 6-foot-5 prospect visited Boise State earlier this month, but his trip to Washington State put the Cougars over the top and he committed late Saturday night.

DeGraw is now the third defensive line commitment for Jake Dickert's program, and he gives the team another pass rushing threat.

“I’m about the motor and just out-working someone until they don’t want to go against me anymore,” DeGraw recently told The Wolfpack Central.

The new WSU commit from Coeur d'Alene has a strong family history of football players, and his bloodlines should certainly help him when he arrives in Pullman next year.

“My dad came from the state of Washington [Seattle area] and played football at Idaho — defensive end Michael DeGraw,” DeGraw said. “My uncles all played — one at Washington State and another uncle, Tavita Pritchard, played at Stanford and is now the quarterbacks coach for the Washington Commanders. My cousin is defensive end Vinny Curry, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and went to Marshall.”

DeGraw had 48 tackles, nine tackles for loss and three sacks in eight games last season.

He is now the sixth commitment overall for the Cougars in the 2024 class.
