Coming off their best win of the season, the Cougars are flying high after a 2-0 start they could not have asked for.
WSU even received 30 points in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll after the win, but just missed out of the top 25 by a few spots.
Now having the best win for the Pac-12 conference, the Cougars look to finish the nonconference part of the regular season undefeated as they welcome the Colorado State Rams (0-2, 0-0 Mountain West Conference) to Pullman.
This team is definitely riding high after beating Wisconsin on the road, limiting the offense and forcing Graham Mertz to throw.
Defensively, the presence of EDGEs Ron Stone Jr. and Brennan Jackson make the difference, and how the depth for the defensive line is big enough to have a rotation including Andrew Edson and David Gusta.
The only question to this team is how the offense will function throughout of the season.
A lot of the Cougar faithful have been expecting the āCoug Raidā that head coach Jake Dickert said he will run this offense.
